I believe we, the Body of Christ, must take our place in today’s world as those belonging to God who live by His standard, where everything is possible. We are no longer our own, for we have been bought with a price to reach a sad and suffering world. It’s not “who we are” but “Whose we are.”
The Church of Jesus Christ is beyond race. If the Church is not producing a race-less society, then alignments other than Christ will take it over, as they are now doing in the political arena. Our equality is in Him. The church becomes great only as it gives itself to Jesus and to others. This is the standard of Christianity.
When Body of Christ does not uphold its own standard, given to it by God, by Jesus, by His life’s example and teachings, by the words of the Holy Spirit recorded in Scripture, then others will capture its truths and make it be from another source, the world spirit seizing on Christian values and using them in subtle ways to shape its agenda.
The only force on earth that can dislocate this false representation is truth that frees the world by making itself known and seen in manifestation by the Body of Christ. A depressed multitude must see a new hope in the manifestation of Christ in the world through His people. We pray for our nation and for all who are in it, citizens and noncitizens alike, and we send the grace of God into hearts and minds.
We speak the relief and comfort of the Holy Spirit to those who suffer. Because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts, we can speak grace to all those who have suffered tragic violence and death. We send the spirit of grace, consolation, and comfort to every hurting soul in the Name of Jesus.
There is a grace of recovery that can be received when one surrenders their pain to Jesus. Surrendering to God immediately attaches you to the source of His power, which is way beyond yourself. Jesus bore the very pain that you are in, and in Him, His grace can remove it.
You can know His victory in your soul. The world needs to know this, and it can only know it by Christians who know it. The standard of the Gospel is that everything is possible. Suffering, depths of sorrow and misery can be undone in a moment when the Spirit of God is allowed to work through the believer as He wants to work through the believer.
This kind of grace is a quick action of God, His infused power entering a person by way of the Holy Spirit. We are to show the world this grace. Show grace that has operated in your life. Show it. Don’t keep it a secret. Let it be known! Console on God’s level. If you don’t show how it works in you, then the world accepts that it must live in and with its pain, and that’s not true.
Jesus gives victory over suffering. He arose a victor, not a victim, into a new position of grace. We gain through His victory over everything.
I believe we are to be today, wherever possible, the touch of Jesus, taking back our standard and making it visible. Be the touch of Jesus for those in pain. Ask the Lord for a full experience of living the Gospel standard, that you may be everything He needs you to be for everyone who needs you. Be so empowered that a touch of your hand might relieve a lifetime of sufferings.
This is salvation, and we are accountable to God for it. Renew your consecration to Jesus Christ. The Lord says, “I am calling on you to arise to the stature I’ve called you to. If you are willing, I will see to it that you obtain that stature in Me.” Amen.
