We thank the Lord for giving us the Word of God, the Word of truth, and that we can eat it, digest it, assimilate it, benefit from it. We can live with the mind of Christ because of the blood of Jesus upon our minds, and we can live in the wisdom of God.
I am so grateful for the Holy Spirit and His work in us, through us, and in our midst. We ask that He would grant us more wisdom , more understanding, more knowledge of the Word of God and also of ourselves. We thank you, Lord, and ask that you show us our shortcomings. Help us be strengthened in those areas. Show us, Lord, how we can use our strength for the benefit of others and the world.
We ask the wisdom of God about how we should proceed in the new year. We’re aware of things going on in the world – and inundated by lies, but we recognize them a mile away. Thank you for a greater life in the Spirit in the year ahead, a greater wisdom in our walk with God, a greater understanding of how to deal with life and with those around us.
We ask that you grant us a greater ability to reach the lost for the Kingdom of God. I ask that you show us ways we never saw before in which we can be a positive influence for the Gospel. I pray that our light shine differently in the days ahead, that those about us who do not know the Lord can see the difference between the true Christian and the one using the word “Christian” who has actually fallen short of the mark. Thank you for a greater development in our ability to walk in the works of Jesus in the day ahead.
I ask the Lord to bless you, and I pray this holiday be among the most marvelous family gatherings and a time for a closer bond between family members. I take authority over old grievances and break their power and influence among family members, releasing a new spirit of peace and love to come forth in each one in Jesus’ Name.
The grateful heart isn’t concentrating on things that are wrong. Faith can’t operate in that environment. I thank you, Lord, for the increase of Christian fellowship at the Thanksgiving table and Jesus at its center! Because we have asked, and they are your desire for us, I thank you we receive these blessings in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
