Queen Elizabeth II inspired us and the world with her excellent devotion to the high call of God upon her life. She committed her entire life to the upholding of the crown.
As monarchs are born into the call upon their lives, so too, Christians are born again into the call of God upon their lives. Have we committed our lives to upholding the throne of heaven as she did, putting the call of God upon her life above everything else?
All Christians are called to a royal priesthood, made priests and kings in the Kingdom of God. If anything in us dislikes the concept of royalty, we should examine our hearts. We cannot shout, “Bring back the King!” without understanding kingship and what it means to be part of a royal household.
A Royal Calling
See yourself in God’s roles and purposes for your life. There are roles of conduct in the kingdom that those in the household must exhibit, both in and out of the household. Royalty is meant to be dignified, noble in character, in speech, and in action. The dark realm has sought to dampen that understanding in the Body of Christ.
To be a part of the Kingdom of Jesus is not about elitism, but it is about the Elect. The Elect cannot live like the people of the world. Queen Elizabeth had 70 years of battles and challenges, yet she was always victorious. So, too, must we be in this world.
In a royal household, there are many roles for many different people to play, all very important for the running of the kingdom. Never think what you are called to do has little or no meaning. It has great meaning. We pray for the Body of Christ to understand the need for righteous decisions and behaviors in this world. May you have enlightened understanding about what this means as it pertains to you and your role in the Kingdom of God.
We must live this kind of life, properly representing Jesus, our King. We thank you, Lord, for helping us in all ways possible by your grace and mercy, that we may rise to the understanding of what this means in our life today.
The Blood Relationship
Monarchy is about bloodlines, not election. As such, it is understood that the sovereign is God’s will for the nation. Likewise, we are positioned where we are in the Lord according to His will. Our role in the world is related to our relationship to the Blood of Jesus.
His Blood and our relationship to His Blood is what makes us what we are in God in this world. It’s because of the Blood that we are His Elect, and the anointing that is in us and upon us is for the service of the Kingdom of God. Because of the Blood of Jesus, we may be placed in roles in the Kingdom that we might never have imagined.
Living Sacrifices
Above all, seek first the Kingdom of God in everything that pertains to your life and His righteousness. Then what you need will be added unto you. Allow the Holy Spirit to expand your understanding of this for His glory, for righteousness exalts and lifts a nation.
Queen Elizabeth finished her course with excellence, ending an era with grace. As King Charles III begins his reign, we send our love, comfort and prayers to his family and his nation. God save The King.
