We pray for the hearts of the Jewish people to connect with their spiritual heritage, with their Scriptures and with their destiny in God. May thoughts of their eternal heritage and destiny enter into their minds, and the Holy Spirit enlighten their understanding to these facts.
We pray that the Spirit of the Lord will prepare their hearts for what lies ahead on the battlefield and grant them full understanding of their eternal purposes in God. Many in Israel may not believe that God is with them, yet He is, and He remains faithful to His plan and purpose for the nation.
And only God is the judge of whether Israel does what is right or what is wrong, for God alone is the Judge. We need to be very careful when we engage in judgments, for we are not the judge in these matters.
We pray for the Jewish people’s renewed hope in God. We pray they receive His strength and direction and acknowledge Him in their battles, knowing their ultimate destiny will be fulfilled, no matter how many enemies seek to prevent it.
The Body of Christ should represent God’s spiritual warriors on the ground, for we are called to intercede against the spiritual forces that seek to blind Israel’s eyes and minds. Many enemies know how to use spiritual forces against Israel. In fact, they are more involved in spiritual warfare than the Israelis are. So we must pray in the Name of Jesus that Israel be uplifted in this age-old battle of God and the gods and that Israel become one with the plan of their God for their nation. Amen.
