We pray that the Lord will grant to President-elect Biden a double portion of the spirit of meekness and humility, that this spirit come upon him and that in the wisdom of God, he be guided. We pray his heart be in the hand of the Lord as He turns it in the direction of His will for America. May he fulfill all the days of his presidency with a good name acknowledged by all, which is better than a precious ointment (Eccl. 7:1). And may he continue to be a person who acknowledges his own mistakes and miscalculations, asking forgiveness and going forward in fortitude.

We pray for President Trump, that he rest in the excellent accomplishments God helped him to achieve for our nation. May he look forward, not backward, in a new tomorrow for himself, and so may he find rest in the will of God for his life at this time, for it is better to hear the rebuke of the wise than to hear the song of fools (Eccl. 7:5).
