We lift up the families in Texas and New York and thank you, Lord, for a deep work of your Spirit among all who have lost loved ones to gun violence in America. Broken hearts and fear are everywhere, and most of our prayers are feeble because of the spiritual level we’re on.

We ask, Lord, that you would you endow us with the anointing of your Spirit to pray that which should be prayed for them and for this situation in our nation. We offer ourselves to you to turn these situations around, to pray with anointing and authority to be able to stop them in advance. May we be so upgraded in the spirit that we would know from you before things happen and be able to stop it, doing our part against Satan, who is asking for the blood of the innocent this year. You told us to ask largely this year, so we do ask in Jesus’ Name.

As the Lord’s representatives in this earth, we are made capable by the Holy Spirit of carrying such burdens in the Spirit. We need to reach into God for anointings to come upon us as they came upon Jesus, who by the Spirit was able to lift a person out of any burden, brokenness, oppression, sorrow or suffering. Jesus always met the need in full.

Be open to be used in such capacity. I pray for those who are willing to be brought into a far greater relationship with the Holy Spirit so that the same anointings that were upon Jesus may be granted supernaturally to us, also.

We acknowledge, Lord, that we are wanting in the realm of the spirit. We submit ourselves for greater endowments of your Spirit to impart the comfort that only God can give, that we can deliver those about us who are in fear about what they do and where they go. Send us with anointings that can reach the hurting and the grieving on the level required to meet it. We pray to be qualified for such assignments in Jesus’ Name.

May the church in America be an assembly of those who have submitted their hearts and lives to God to fulfill His purposes on the earth.
