Our Kenya Testimony

We marvel at the grace of God upon this ordained mission. Prophetic Ministries was welcomed throughout Kenya, beginning with ministry in Nairobi, where the Lord prophesied by vision to a local pastor who oversees many churches. We spoke much about making disciples of Jesus Christ and the work that transforms believers into His image. We met many believers and saw the Lord work in that land. Wounded hearts were made whole as we shared the Lord's desire that Africa arise in the Spirit. We ministered the way of victory over culture. People are hungry, needing to be filled, and we are eager to return.

We put cards of the cross of Jesus into many hands, fulfilling the vision which initiated the mission. A Samburu woman came to welcome Miriam exactly as she had seen it, flinging the door wide open. The Lord said our purpose was to initiate the search for Him, and the search is on. We met Christian ministers who will continue the work with our cards. They were grateful for so realistic a vehicle of faith as a cross card with holes, into which the believer can nail his problems and see the curse removed.

Our cross cards are small enough to fit in one's hand, with holes at the end of each crossbar as a reminder that Jesus was nailed to the cross in our place.

And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. (Col. 2:13-15)

Jesus said, "Tell people to nail their infirmities, sicknesses, problems and temptations through the holes in the card." You can write it, draw it, and nail it through the holes with a pen or a stick and leave the problem there. God's power will bring the needed deliverance.

Each team member brought something unique to the ministry. This was the ultimate cultural exchange. We shared our hearts as well as the Gospel, a safari and beyond into the realm of the Spirit with lasting purpose and satisfaction. Jesus brought genuine excitement and renewed faith as we described the freedom His sacrifice obtained. Local pastors were strengthened and empowered. Market vendors found renewed hope in their Savior. Some have relatives here, whom we welcome to our services.

We thank the Lord for making this trip perfect, and we thank you for supporting us with your love, prayers, and finances. Together, we share eternal inheritance in Africa.
