Lord, we come before you in the Name of Jesus, and we ask that you do speak to us by your Holy Spirit and show us your will in the areas of prayer. We pray that our hearts, our minds, and our understanding may be sensitive and alert to the areas that you want us to pray. Show us your purposes and your wisdom in the areas that you want to be brought forth in the earth, the changes of authorities and regimes.
We thank you, Lord, that because we have asked you as a group for the wisdom, the knowledge, the understanding and the ability to hear and understand the directive in prayer, that we as a prayer ministry will have the perfect directive of the Holy Spirit. We thank you, Holy Spirit, for showing us, alerting us, giving us the will of God to be prayed for in these specific times we live in. But we do want to thank you tonight for all that you have given to us. We want to thank you for this country that we were allowed to be raised up and to live in. And Lord, we ask you to help us and to show us how to safeguard that which we have, and to keep it from being
taken away.
We ask, Lord, that each and every person in Prophetic Ministries be
strengthened greatly, and that the eyes of our understanding be open way beyond what we are able to see by the Spirit today. We promise, Lord, that if you will give us the prayer directive and tasks, that we will be vessels that will remain true to you in the prayer.
Lord, we know that these kinds of prayer require the surrendered life, so we thank you, Lord, for the ability to surrender our lives and to know the areas that do need to be surrendered. We thank you for giving each and every one of us a willing heart and the ability to become willing wherever it is that we need to become willing. We ask, Lord, make us willing, that we might be those people who can be used at this particular hour.
Lord we pray this night for this nation. We take authority over the arguing and quarreling spirits that are going on even since the elections, the fights over who has the position of authority. We just take authority over those fighting spirits that want to bring division at every turn. We break the power of the spirits of division that have been let loose in this nation. We push them away and tell them to leave our shores in the Name of Jesus and go
out to sea. We speak peace and godliness over all the elected officials and all the new ones. We pray, Lord, that they might come to a resolve peacefully over who should do what, and we pray, Lord, that the persons who would best serve godliness in this nation come to the positions of power in the Name of Jesus. We pray, Lord, that each person be willing to take their position and be resolved in their positions and that a spirit of patriotism and true concern for the outcome of the nation fall upon every representative in
this land, from the highest to the lowest. I pray, Lord, that each person be granted a concern in their heart for the future and not just the election of the moment.
We pray for each and every one of us individually, that we might be
granted insight into your master plan for how this country – and the
Christians in this country – can be used in this day to do a work, no matter what the work of the enemy is. And I thank you, Lord, that truly, greater is He that is in us that he that is in the world, and no matter how great the work is to be done, it can be done, for we truly do have the greater One. We thank you for these things tonight, in Jesus Name. Amen.
